Fishing on Smith Lake

Rutger Hyche Fishing

In July 2025 we went on a fishing trip with Rutger on Smith Lake to see what it was all about. It was our wedding anniversary trip. We had a good time and Rutger was a great guide. I am not the best at fishing, but my husband caught quite a few. Rutger offers private fishing tours on Smith Lake and its definitely worth it just going and seeing all the lake has to offer. This about 30 minutes from our grounds. He gave us the history on Smith Lake which was pretty interesting. We definitely will be back again. If you want an awesome excursion in your glamping experience we recommend booking with Rutger and go catch some fish. To book with Rutger give him a call at the number below and follow him on Facebook.
