Where Nature, Comfort, and Adventure Meet

We’re a small family with big faith, following a dream that’s grown from both love and loss. My name is Kara Jordan Wright, and I’ve always been a dreamer. My vision is to create a place where families can slow down, reconnect, and make memories that last.

This dream is being brought to life—board by board, shovel by shovel—by my husband, Jon Wright, whose dedication and hard work make it all possible. Jon grew up in Northeast Alabama, and I’m from West Tennessee. Our paths crossed in the middle after I lost my first husband of nine years in a tragic workplace accident at age 29. Together, we now share life with our 13-year-old daughter, Averi Jordan, and our 2-year-old son, Sylar Wright.

In many ways, rebuilding my life after loss has mirrored the transformation of this land. When we first found it, the property was buried under more trash than we could have imagined. Bit by bit, we’ve cleared and restored it, bringing new life to a place once neglected.

We hope this land becomes a beacon of hope—proof that beauty and joy can grow from hardship. Our mission is simple: to offer a space where families can share simple moments, breathe in nature’s healing, and create unforgettable memories together. And as a dreamer, I can tell you—the vision doesn’t stop here. The best is still to come.
